The food on the plane, the service of fellow flight attendants, and the overall hygiene are important aspects that frequent flyers tend to look out for prior to buying their tickets, for the sake of the passengers’ comfort. However, is the attire of a flight attendant important enough?
Just yesterday (January 3), the deputy president of PAS, Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man boarded one of the airlines in Malaysia, and he was pleased, as expressed via his Twitter post. He has nothing but good words to say about his flight experience, especially when it comes to the uniform of the female flight attendants.
“The uniform of the female flight attendants were ‘polite’. It’s a good start, and keep up the good work.”
The matter is not new as it was previously discussed in the Parliamentary back in 2018, where PAS commented on the revealing outfits of the female flight attendants. Anthony Loke responded and simply asked them to look away if the attire is revealing.
“That’s what you’re reviewing?”
Tuan Ibrahim’s review on his flight was short and brief, but many Malaysians have since weighed in and said that the deputy president of PAS had a lot more to review, but the attire became the priority.
“People would review the comfort, seats, food, and hospitality. He reviewed the attire.”
“They keep looking at the butts of the flight attendants, then they’ll say it’s sexy. I don’t understand these guys.”
A netizen has since commented and “reminded” Tuan Ibrahim of what he should’ve done instead.
“We observe the comfort, safety, punctuality, number of flights, etc. PAS observes the female flight attendants.”
“They don’t have anything else to see and they can’t control their gaze when they see ladies. I observe what’s in the seat pocket, the magazines, and what shows the TV has. I don’t even remember the attire of the female flight attendants.”
“I don’t care about the uniform as long as the flight is safe.”
“I don’t observe their attire but I care about the price of the tickets, the comfort, the service of the cabin crews, and how much the flight cancelations happen.”
Fellow Malaysians, especially if you’re a frequent flyer, what’s the most important thing to you that define a good flight experience?
