Recently, our government announced that we’ve been given the leeway of bringing one additional family member along for essential errands.
Unfortunately for Sabah, this flexibility will not yet apply to them, as according to The Star.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has said that the Sabah Covid-19 Command Centre will need to look into the relaxed ruling announced under phase four of the Movement Control Order (MCO).
“We will need to study it’s impact first,” he said after meeting with China’s expert consultant team on the coronavirus as they met up to share their experiences with handling the pandemic.
The Chinese team visited Sabah as the last leg of their week-long visit to Malaysia.
Shafie added that for now, two people in a car will only be allowed for specific purposes. The liberty of a second person in the car is currently only for medical reasons and other valid essentials.
