Animal advocacy non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have raised a whopping RM51,100 as a reward for anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators who skinned a dog, named Biao Mei, alive at the Krubong Industrial Area in Melaka.
Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM) took to their Facebook page to share the details of a press conference they held, in collaboration with the Melaka Fursave Association, in regards to this.

NGOs raise RM51,100 as a reward for information that could lead to the arrest of those who skinned a dog alive in Melaka
They wrote, “During the conference, Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM) announced that the reward fund, initially raised through donations from the public and businesses, was RM21,100. Today, a concerned businessman has contributed an additional RM30,000, bringing the total reward to RM51,100.”
“This reward is intended to encourage individuals with any relevant information regarding the animal cruelty case in Krubong to come forward and assist in identifying and apprehending the perpetrators.”
Where are the authorities?

SAFM also formally requested that the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) take immediate and serious action in investigating this matter.
“It is crucial that the individuals responsible for this inhumane act are swiftly identified and brought to justice,”
“Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM) and the Melaka Fursave Association remain steadfast in their commitment to securing justice for Biao Mei and ensuring that those responsible for animal cruelty are held accountable,” they added.
On Sunday (August 17), it was reported that Biao Mei was discovered to have been skinned alive at the industrial area.
