Not long ago, some Malaysians were slammed by netizens and were called in for investigation by the police for using butane gas cookers near a gas station to cook instant noodles.

Though nothing blew up, this new level of fear became a reality as this group of Indonesian hikers atop Gunung Wilis, Eastern Java, experienced a different outcome as their portable cooker blew up.

Here is a video of the incident taking place.

As this netizen started recording, not long after the stove was turned off and another was about to open it, it blew up, spewing instant noodles nearby in all directions.

We are happy to report that no one was hurt, nor was there an ensuing fire.
