Taking to social media, this netizen and automotive influencer took to social media, sharing just how bad traffic got during the Aidiladha break.

In his Twitter update he wrote: “Before you judge, have you ever been caught in an 8 to 10 hour traffic jam?”

“You have to respect their will to travel back to Kelantan despite the traffic.”

In the video, people can be seen driving against traffic just to avoid being stuck any longer.

Despite asking members of the public to understand, netizens remained divided.

“This year it took me 10hours and 30 minutes to reach Machang.”

“En route, a Myvi made me brake hard after trying to cut in the opposite lane.”

“It’s hard for me to respect these kind of drivers when they endanger others.”

“When you drive emotionally, you will do nothing but put innocent people in harm’s way.”

The netizen later clarified that his respect was for those willing to brave traffic jams just to get back home, and not those who violate traffic laws and endanger others.
