Malaysian public toilets aren’t always in the best shape… so it’s lucky we’ve got someone reviewing them for us so we don’t have to experience them ourselves!
TikTok influencer marissawong96 is doing the dirty work, with most of her content focused on reviewing public toilets across Malaysia.

Marissa shared that she often comes across a lot of food reviews online, which sparked her idea to start reviewing toilets instead since having a good bathroom experience is just as important.
Her toilet reviews focus on factors like overall cleanliness, the presence of a bidet, toilet paper, bins, the functionality of the flush, and other important features.
In one of her viral videos, she was seen visiting a non-halal cafe in Kuala Lumpur and shared her honest thoughts on the cafe’s bathroom.
Before reviewing the bathroom, she enjoyed a meal at the cafe, where she mentioned that the crispy chicken waffles and crepes were really delicious.
After finishing her food, she headed to the toilet and quickly pointed out how it lacked proper ventilation, which might’ve been why it had an unpleasant smell which she gave a 6/10.
“I was about to use the toilet but changed my mind. The smell was awful, and there wasn’t much ventilation, even though the food was good.”
The caption of the post reads,
“The bathroom wasn’t terrible, but they could definitely use better ventilation. The food was good, especially the chicken waffles and crepes.”
Netizens, however, seemed to love the creative idea of reviewing public bathrooms, filling up the comment section with their reactions.
“Rating food, no. Rating toilets, yes.”
“Thanks for the toilet review. So far, I haven’t seen any TikTokers reviewing toilets. I’ll give you a follow.”
“Even defecating has a vlog.”
“Good, we need more people reviewing toilets because I also really care about toilets whenever I go anywhere.”
