National Shuttler Soh Wooi Yik Has A Female Doppelganger In South Korea? Netizens Are Amused

It is not uncommon to find non-blood related people who look the same. However, just because it’s uncommon doesn’t mean it’s any less of a shock.

Recently, Malaysians have pointed out that national badminton player Soh Wooi Yik may have not only a doppelganger in Korea, but a female one!

The are referring to a woman who appeared in the Korean dating reality show, The Skip Dating.

In an 11-minute clip of the show uploaded on YouTube, the woman with long, black hair can be seen participating in the show’s activities but Malaysians can’t help but notice how much she looks like Wooi Yik.

The similarities are especially obvious if you look at photos of the two of them when they’re not smiling. The shape of their lips and eyes are so similar!

Netizens are amused

Online, netizens express their amusement in and disbelief at the two people’s resemblance.

I can’t unsee it since I saw it last night. Too similar. I thought someone edited it,” said one netizen.

They also cracked jokes about how she can be called “Soh Woo Yin” and replace Wooi Yik in his men’s doubles badminton tournaments.
