The blood supply at the National Blood Centre is running low and is in need of replenishing. Through their official Instagram page, the National Blood Centre is pleading to the public to continue donating blood because the supply is declining rapidly every day. The page wrote,

“In just 2 days, the blood supply of Type O changed from yellow to red. Type B changed from green to yellow and Type A remains at yellow. Our stock of blood is getting lower every day. If this continues, it will be bad for patients who need blood urgently.”

We would like to urge the public who can donate blood to visit their nearest blood centre for a donation. With the pandemic happening right now and everyone having to obey the Movement Control Order, you can still go to any blood centre that is within 10km from you. So if you are able to donate, please do so!
