A Malaysian man caused an accident when he decided to leave his handbrake down and car door wide open when stopping to get food from a street vendor. This led to his car rolling away and hitting another vehicle.

The MALAYSIA MOST VIRAL X page showcased dashcam footage from the car that got hit by the man’s runaway vehicle.

They wrote, “The consequences of being lazy. Parking as he pleases, too lazy to pull up his handbrake and even lazier to close his door. And then, he’s inconveniencing others (by causing an accident).”

In the dashcam footage showcased, the man’s red Perodua Myvi could be seen already stopped next to a street vendor. He then left his car door open as he approached the stall.

Suddenly, his car started rolling away towards traffic, much to his horror.

Though he attempted to run after his car, his car door, which was left ajar, ultimately slammed into the vehicle with the dashcam, rendering his efforts futile and causing him to throw his hands up.

We genuinely hope that everyone remembers to pull their handbrakes up when stopping and leaving their vehicles.
