It’s sad how the crime rate in Malaysia isn’t slowing down day after day. Time to take up self-defense classes, people!
One of the most recent cases is the discovery of a female body in the grassy area of a construction site in Johor Bahru. The construction site is located opposite the Grand BlueWave Hotel, which is also right in the central business and shopping districts of Johor Bahru.

According to China Press, the body was found naked and is believed to have been dumped there for several days, based on the body’s decomposing rate. The construction site is surrounded by vegetation and dirt tracks, which looks rather out of the way and may explain why nobody noticed the body that was abandoned there for a few days.

The police have not been able to identify the deceased yet, but she appears to be of Chinese descent.

Currently, there are no motives for the woman’s death but based on the report by China Press, it looks like it may allegedly be a rape and murder case. This is because there were multiple condoms found near the dead woman’s body, near a field. While this is not confirmed yet, the police have affirmed that the case is currently under investigation.
So guys, please be careful! Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when you’re alone!
