The new school year just started this week on Monday (March 11), where new and returning students arrived at school to kick start their academics.

But one thing that shouldn’t be kick started in schools is bullying.

The Pesan Ummi Facebook page recently showcased how a student’s uniform had been cut by his fellow peer, literally just a day into joining the new school year.

Bully 1

They wrote, “The first day of school and his uniform has already been cut up by his friend.”

In the image, the student’s uniform could be seen with a huge hole and cuts on the sleeve, allegedly caused by a fellow student with a pair of scissors.

Upon seeing the picture, many shared their frustration and concern over widespread bullying in schools, especially with their own kids as victims and the potential harm a pair of scissors in the hands of a student can do.

Bully 2

“Same, even more so that it’s our kid’s bag.”

Bully 3

“If the scissors cuts the victim’s hand, what will happen? It looks like the scissors was quite sharp.”

Bully 4

“Pity the student, it must be traumatic for him to start the school year like this. And school uniforms are not cheap. It looks like the bully really enjoyed themselves with the scissors. Please go meet their parents and ask for compensation.”

Bully 5

“School uniforms are not cheap. Pity the mother, may all your burdens be eased.”

What do you think school administrations can do to better fight against bullying?

Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
