It’s not very often that you hear about a kid being slapped by a teacher. So, what would you think is a worthy offense that deserves a slap?

A grandfather, Rosli Sabar, took to the KUALA SELANGOR OFFICIAL Facebook group to share his horror upon discovering that his grandson, who is a Standard 2 student at a school in Selangor, was allegedly slapped by a teacher just for entering the wrong classroom.

He wrote, “A Standard 2 student was slapped, and was stuck with the teacher’s palm print (on his face), for entering the wrong classroom. That’s my grandson. Tomorrow, I will be going to the school to ask for an explanation from the teacher.”

He also asked if there were any parents with kids that have been allegedly abused by the teacher to step forward with him.

Seeing the marks the alleged slap left on the boy’s face, Malaysians were outraged by the teacher’s apparent actions.

“What a cruel teacher, just make a report.”

“If this had happened to my child, I would slap the teacher back.”

slap 3

“He’s just a kid. Even if he did enter the wrong classroom, he doesn’t deserve to be slapped like that. Is the teacher crazy or something?”

slap 4

“Teachers with a hot temper should not qualify to be academic educators.”

What do you think of this whole situation? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
