A video went viral on social media recently, depicting the quick actions of passersby to save a lifeless motorcyclist on the side of the road.
The video, shared by Purushotaman S Palanisamy on Facebook, shows Malaysians of all races banding together to provide emergency aid to the man who was suffering from a heart attack.
As of the time of writing, the video has garnered more than 92,000 views and over 1,100 reactions, with many praising the quick action of those who provided the emergency aid, especially the woman who was seen performing CPR on the man until he regained consciousness.
Based on the video, the incident is believed to have taken place near Klang, Selangor and while the footage was posted on Tuesday (5 September), it is unknown when exactly the incident happened.
At the start of the video, the man can be seen losing consciousness as two men assisted in holding him up while a woman performed CPR.
The trio then carefully laid the man on the ground as the woman continued tirelessly to perform CPR.
After around 1 minute of performing CPR, the man thankfully responded to the emergency aid and began breathing and gaining consciousness.
They then helped the man up, presumably to bring him to the nearest hospital for further treatment.
