We have seen numerous videos of fish being fed weird things to fatten them up and prepare them for human consumption.
Taking to TikTok this netizen shares why this fish seemed a tad bit heavier than usual, citing that this type of catfish known locally as the patin, will eat almost anything when it is hungry.
In the 50-second video, the man can be seen gutting the fish showing a rather peculiar stomach.
After gutting the fish, the man discovers that the catfish has consumed a bunch of snails.
“I can’t believe this fish can swallow this many snails.”
The man’s finding is not only limited to this video, as in the comments section several other netizens pointed out the same thing.
“During a flood, people caught patin and began gutting them only to find that the fish had gobbled up a snake.”
“Once the patin I caught had fruit in its stomach,” said another netizen.
