Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today launched the MYJalan campaign under the Works Ministry in Gerik, Perak.
An initiative aimed at fostering shared responsibility and accountability amongst all road users in the country, the campaign also involves a new application under the Works Ministry called “MyJalan KKR”.
Speaking of which, Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi today announced that the MyJalan KKR app has been operational since last week and is available for download on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store and HUAWEI App Gallery.
The app is a one-stop centre for the public to lodge complaints regarding road issues, regardless of whether the road is maintained by the Public Works Ministry or not.
Among the road issues that you can lodge a complaint about on the app include damaged roads, potholes, broken traffic lights, damaged street lamps, public facilities, landslides, blockages and more.
To lodge a report, all you have to do is install the app and register as a user. The app then prompts you to select the location of the issue, select the type of issue, provide a brief description of the problem and attach a photo (optional).
Once done, you can submit the report and the app will notify you via the app and email that they have received the complaint. You can also check on the status of the complaint and whether actions have been taken to rectify the issue via the app.
So, what do you guys think of the MyJalan KKR app? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
