Even though there are many job opportunities in Malaysia, many citizens still prefer to go across the causeway to earn earn a living.

In a video that has gone viral by TikTok user @ezzaiky7, he talks about how much a sanitary worker in Singapore earns.

He added, “although the money is a lot, there are multiple challenges that one needs to go through.”

In that video, a netizen commented that Malaysia gives greater compensation than Singapore. In a different video, the sanitary worker graciously responded to that statement:

“High-paying jobs in Malaysia might be for those who are educated. I am uneducated. If I can earn RM7,000, 8,000 or 9,000 while staying in my own country, I would want that.”
