With the rising cost of living, the price of many things is increasing, and finding food within our budgets can be hard.

Recently, a food vendor, Saudagar Western Food, located at Batu Caves, posted on its Facebook page about its pricing.

In the post, they showed their burger combo set, which includes a chicken burger, sausages and fries. The caption says that the combo cost RM12.50.

“I’m selling this at RM12.50 but there are many who scolds me for selling it at this price. They said that it should be RM10 only.”

The vendor then explained that the jumbo sausage was already RM5, the chicken in the burger was not chicken breast, and the fries were from Ramly.

“We are also renting a stall here and not just setting it up illegally. I hope you understand the situation of our business.”

He elaborated, “If you want us to sell at that price, it’s fine too, but the portion will be less. So please forgive us if the price is too high for you.”

Many netizens in the comments supported the business and said the pricing was fair.

“This price is already reasonable. Don’t care about people like them. They don’t know the cost of living in the city.”

“The price is already okay if it’s only 1 or 2 people saying this, then just don’t care,” said a user,
