“Through her IG stories, I notice her BF always bring her to different malls to shop for luxury items. He even picks her up at college in his BMW.”

Initially, she thought that her BFF’s partner was the son of rich parents but after further understanding, she found out that he got to his current success all through his hard work.
“They support each other’s careers and studies, and they have been together for 2 years. I’m so in awe!”
Successful man vs a gamer boy
This has got her reflecting a lot about her own BF, who is a far cry from her BFF’s partner. Her BF, who is 23 this year mostly prefers to stay at home and play video games. He drives a secondhand Myvi but it’s not only about his gamer traits and his car.
“His internship is just around the corner but he hasn’t even applied for it anywhere. Worst of all, he asked me to fix his resume.”

The woman also said she couldn’t help to wonder about her BF’s financial instability at the moment.
“My BF and my BFF’s partner are around the same age, but one is a successful man and another one is still gaming at home.”
