Knowledge is accumulated in our day-to-day life and it contributes to our experience, which is something that money can never buy.

Datuk Aznil Haji Nawawi who is affectionately known as Pak Nil, is one of the most famous TV hosts in Malaysia and it seems that he has been appointed as an adjunct professor to spread his knowledge to the new generation.

This news was first broken by the University of Malaya which appointed Aznil as an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Business and Economy where the host had graduated from in 1984.

When asked about this appointment, the top host who will be turning 61 this year told mStar that with this new appointment, retirement seems so far away.

“This appointment makes me want to work without thinking of retirement. As long as I still have the energy, knowledge and capability to spread, I will do it.”

Aznil also mentioned that he will be using his expertise in broadcast to teach the young’uns, especially about communications.

“I will use my 30 years of experience in the industry to help the younglings. My expertise is in communications.”

He added that he will be working with the Dean of the faculty to plan modules and even the future pathway of the faculty.

The TV host began his service on 9 October. We wish Datuk Aznil all the best!
