“Locker mart” – M’sian Student Unveils Locker Filled Creatively with Secret Food Stash

As students, we can relate to the financial challenges of moving away from home and learning to survive on our own. We often depend on budget-friendly foods like instant noodles and snacks to stretch our allowances until the next one comes in.

In a recent viral video making waves online, student @abang_kitkat shared on his TikTok a glimpse of his personal locker packed with all sorts of snacks.

“Locker mart!”

In celebration of Ramadan, the student came up with a funny and clever idea by using one of his dorm room lockers as a snack stash.

From tea bags arranged in a unique way to crackers and even RM1 notes, the video has since amused online netizens, as his creativity didn’t go unnoticed.

“This reminds me of my boarding school days in the 90s”

The video has certainly sparked nostalgia, with one user commenting that it reminded them of the 90s, suggesting that this method has been popular since then.

Keeping a food stash in dorms is nothing new. However, it’s refreshing to see students getting creative with how they store their snacks.
