No parent usually sends off their kids to boarding school willingly. It’s usually because they want their kids to receive the best possible education and enjoy the best facilities. However, how heartbreaking would it be for the parents to discover their kids are bullied and tortured when they’re at the hostel.

That’s how this mother must have felt when she found out her son was sexually assaulted by 7 of his “friends”. According to Harian Metro, the 14-year-old boy finally revealed his ordeals to his mom when she visited him at his hostel 22nd October. The boy, who studies at a secondary school in Marang, Pahang had bruises on his stomach and also he claimed to have pains all over his body and buttocks.

“He was threatened that he would get beaten up if he exposed all their wrongdoings to anyone.”

According to the victim also, he was forced to perform oral sex on his seven ‘friends’ and would even get beaten up if he refused to follow their orders. Honestly, I don’t even know why they’re called friends!

The victim’s mum immediately made a police report for further action. According to Marang Chief Police, Deputy Superintendent Mohd Zain Mat Idris, the complaint has been received and that the case will be investigated according to Section377B of the Penal Code.

Sexual assault happens to everyone regardless of gender. Never feel that you have to suffer alone. If you have been assaulted, contact the nearest police station and make a police report. We will not let these criminals get away with what they do!
