Despite multiple accidents and deaths on the road, nothing seems to be alerting the Mat Rempit gangs about the consequences of dangerous and illegal racing. Sadly, the public roads continue to be their race track without any regard for the lives of other road users.

Illegal racers have been dubbed “Superman” by netizens but this time, there’s a little twist to it. Just recently, a Malaysian man shared a short clip that shows a group of illegal racers performing dangerous stunts on their motorcycles on a highway. In rare circumstances, the illegal racers this time turned out to be a group of “Superwomen”!

Not only they tried to be Superwomen on their motorcycles, some of them even performed dangerous stunts by moving their motorcycles in a zig-zag manner.

In his post, the man described Malaysia as the country with the most illegal motorcycle racers in the world, and teased how fast those Superwomen were really “flying”.

“They were going 140km/h. I couldn’t even catch up.”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the owner of the post said that the incident took place on 9 July at the North-South Expressway heading to Ipoh. He also lost count of how many Superwomen were “performing” at the time, and it was definitely not just 1 or 2 racers.

“They were really fast and skilled, just like professional racers.”

In a Facebook post yesterday (12 July), the traffic department in PDRM urged any witnesses and racers to turn themselves in. Surprisingly, the female racers didn’t take long to visit the police station in Slim River, Perak where each and every one of them were issued with multiple summons.

It’s always funny and laughable until an accident happens. We strongly remind everyone out there, especially the illegal racers to be mindful about the safety of others. What will it take for you to finally understand the consequences of illegal races?
