Taking to TikTok, a singer was recently slammed by numerous comments on her latest music video for donning the traditional Iban uniform.

With many commenting on her clothing selection, one comment which said, “This is haram. Why do you choose to wear clothing of the infidels,” took the cake.

Writing in the caption, “For those idiots out there, this is a traditional ensemble of the Iban.”

“It astounds me as to why this clothing choice was questioned when the song is entitled ‘Bujang Sarawak’.”

Choice comments on this singer’s TikTok feed defended her for her clothing choice.

“I don’t know why people are so keen on labelling others infidels for choosing to don traditional clothing.”

“I think it is better for you to move to Sarawak. People over in Peninsula lack common sense,” said another user.
