One of the struggles that many girls face would be the amount of time spent to dry their hair, especially if they have long hair. That being said, some girls would invest in a better-quality hair dryer to ensure that their hair doesn’t get as much damage from the heat.

Just recently, a Malaysian has shared her experience with a service centre for a famous hair dryer brand. In her post, she mentioned that her hair dryer stopped working and she wanted to send it in for repair.

When she passed the hair dryer to the person in charge, she waited for 10 minutes and the person in charge has quoted her that it would take RM1,500 to repair her hair dryer. Feeling shocked, she was contemplating whether she should pay RM1,500 to get it fixed or if she should just buy a new one.

“I’ve decided that I’m not going to fix it as it is a little steep for me to pay RM1,500 without even knowing why my hair dryer broke in the first place”, she added.

Following her post, many netizens have agreed that it is expensive to pay RM1,500 for them to repair a hair dryer and some even suggested her to get a new one instead. She kept emphasising to some netizens who were attacking the brand that she has been using the hair dryer for 7 years and the quality isn’t bad.

“You should just buy a new one.”

“I don’t think it’s worth repairing.”
