Sometimes, too much screen time will cause you to lose track of your surroundings, and this might be a cue for others to “attack”. For a Malaysian woman, her immersive time on her mobile phone opened the door for her husband to prank her.

In a TikTok clip by @manburgerlava, the woman was seen having her eyes glued to the screen while enjoying some Ondeh-Ondeh, a popular local kuih. She handpicked the food without looking at it, and her husband, Man saw that as an opportunity to remind her NOT to be too focused on her phone.

Man took the lime on his plate and discreetly blended them among the pack of Ondeh-Ondeh in front of him, coating it with the coconut flakes to make a perfect camouflage.

Man then fed his wife with the camouflaged lime, to which she immediately spat out after she discovered the odd taste. The couple then shared a laugh after the successful prank.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Man said that his wife was not upset with the prank and in fact, she found it hilarious too!

Slept on the couch or balcony?

Netizens, on the other hand, were concerned about his fate and jokingly asked if he was able to sleep inside the house after the prank.

“I heard that man is still not home.”

“How long have you been sleeping out there?”

“Don’t forget to prepare your blanket at the couch.”

“I heard the man now is renting a room out there.”

“It’s true that mobile phones are distracting but just want to check on you, are you doing okay now?”

To this may come in handy for the husbands out there if you want to remind your partner about the excessive screen time, but try it at your own risk! We’re not going to be responsible for the consequences.
