A restaurant worker had to double-check the online food order she received through a p-hailing app recently due to a rather peculiar special request by the customer.
In fact, even after reading it again, I’m sure the woman, TikTok user @shaheeraazhar_ would still be dumbfounded because we sure did when reading the order.
Get this, besides ordering an iced Milo drink, the customer also ordered Nasi Lemak with chicken curry and asked for the restaurant to add Milo powder on top of the dish.
The special request section on the app reads,
“Hey. Today is my birthday. I’m so sad because no one remembers or celebrated my birthday with me. I like Milo powder a lot.”
“Please add a lot of Milo powder. Add powder until I lose my sanity seeing them. Do it properly ok. Don’t let your boss know or you’ll get fired. I’m waiting.”
In a series of TikTok posts, @shaheeraazhar_ shared photos and videos of the peculiar order, including one in which she prepared the ‘unique’ dish.
In fact, the video of her showing the online order and preparing the ‘Nasi Lemak Kari Ayam Milo Tabur’ has since gone viral with over 1.3 million views and more than 62,500 likes.
In the video, @shaheeraazhar_ said she was perplexed at the order but did it anyway since it was the man’s birthday and recounted how her boss stressed that the customer is always right.
She then prepared the Nasi Lemak nicely inside a container in which she wrote ‘Happy Birthday’. Afterwards, the abomination started and she brought a bucket of Milo powder and put 4 spoons of it on top of the dish.
However, after putting in the excessive amount of Milo powder, she realised she had forgotten to put in the Sambal and put a spoonful of the chilli paste on top of the Milo powder.
In a separate TikTok post, @shaheeraazhar_ shared screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation she had with the customer to know whether he was being serious or just trolling.
The man replied and said he indeed wanted the Nasi Lemak Kari Ayam Milo Tabur and thanked her for the meal, saying that he liked it.
In fact, the man even shared photos of him happily eating the dish.
