Photos of a mother with a food delivery bag standing outside a McDonald’s in Bangsar have recently gone viral due to the fact that it was believed that she was a GrabFood rider taking care of her kids while making her deliveries.

However, it turns out that that is not the case.

Her husband has since spoken to FreeMalaysiaToday to explain what was truly happening in the images.

Mohamad Hafifi, the lady’s husband, is actually the GrabFood rider who was inside the fast food restaurant picking up his last order for the day. His wife and children were also by chance craving McDonald’s, which led to him bringing them along so that he could get them their meals as well.

“Coincidentally, my kid wanted ice cream and my wife wanted to get McDonald’s as well, so I brought them along to pick up the customer’s order,” Hafifi told FMT.

But it would certainly look weird to the customer if a whole family showed up to deliver the customer’s meal, right?

Don’t worry, Hafifi didn’t bring them along.

“I then sent them home first since my house was near to the customer’s house,” he added.

Hafifi has been working for GrabFood for 6 months as side income to help make a living for his wife and two children.

We understand that working two jobs is not easy and Hafifi’s sacrifices should be commended as he’s doing it for the well-being of his family.

You go, Hafifi!
