The biggest mistake men can make in this day and age, is to trust the internet!

One Malaysian man had to learn this the hard way.

The Abudi Alsagoff Twitter page recently shared how a man wished his wife a Happy Birthday by sharing a post on social media while saying that he would give his wife RM1 for every like the post receives, and wow, that escalated quickly!

Abudi Alsagoff wrote, “Greetings to 14,000. Don’t forget to pay off your debt with your wife. The power of going viral.”

In the posting, the husband promised to gift his wife RM1 for every like his post received, in celebration of her birthday.

Very quickly, the post received 14,000 likes, which prompted the man to immediately turn off the reactions function to the post so that people can no longer ‘like’ it.

His wife later shared a hilarious statement in regards to this incident.

“Greetings to 14,000. Men should not forget, besides the topic of cheating and the topic of homewrecking, women also take the topic of money very seriously!” she wrote.

We genuinely hope that the wife got every penny she’s been promised.

And our advice to men? Never, ever underestimate the power of the internet!

Would you like to see your partner do this for your birthday? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
