We face multiple rejections but that’s just part of life. A Malaysian man, however, recently dealt with a rejection straight on his face, just because he drives a Myvi.

In a viral and shocking TikTok post by @affeqarfan__, the Malaysian entrepreneur started the video by showing his excitement about picking a girl for a date night. He left the phone on his lap, still recording the moment he initially wanted to remember.

Before the woman boarded his car, she wasted no time and asked, “Is this your Myvi?”

That’s a weird 1st question from a date, but we all know where it was headed. The woman was told that Affeq was going to come in his Mercedes.

“The tyre for Mercedes is punctured, what’s wrong with Myvi? We’re only going out for dinner anyway.”

His response (and the innocent Myvi King) upset the woman, and she told Afeeq to go out with someone who was okay with Myvi before slamming the door shut. Her hatred towards the King was real.

“Myvi is not my taste! I have dignity!”

Is this clip purely content, as suggested by some netizens? According to Affeq, it’s not.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Afeeq said that he did not foresee the harsh rejection at all. Following the rejection, he has stopped contacting the girl.

“I was too stunned to speak after the incident,” he told WORLD OF BUZZ.

The man also admitted that the rejection had traumatised him and made him fearful of getting to know other people again.

“I think I should focus on myself at the time being.”

Hang in there, Afeeq! We’re sure that you can find yourself someone who can value you and the King! Here’s a food for thought.

Is the car really that important in a relationship?
