Grandmas often find it easier to shower love on their grandkids compared to their own children because the time they spend together is more special. As grandmas grow older, they naturally pay more attention to their grandchildren, caring for them and making sure they’re well.

As a result, we owe it to them to reciprocate and care for them as much as possible. In a heartwarming video shared by @cucumakaji_, he and his grandma are seen making their way up the stairs at their flat in Kuala Lumpur.

She wasn’t able to walk on her own due the her condition

In the video, he demonstrates an act of love that moves everyone to tears by gently lifting his 87-year-old grandmother from her wheelchair and carefully carrying her up a flight of stairs as she couldn’t do it on her own.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Aidilaminuddin shared that he was carrying his grandma because she has a foot condition (gangrene), which led to her feet being amputated just above the ankle on both sides, making it difficult for her to walk.

All the lifts were out of order

Aidilaminuddin continued to share that on the day of the incident, he had returned home after taking his grandma to the hospital for her wound cleaning.

“I’m not sure if it’s just my block or if all the blocks are facing issues with broken lifts. On the day of the incident, only 1 lift was working, but whenever it stopped at my floor, the door got stuck and wouldn’t open. That’s why I had to carry my grandma to and from the hospital.”

When they arrived back at their flat, he found that all 4 lifts were out of order and frequently broke down. As a result, he decided to take the stairs. They live on the 2nd floor.

“The lifts frequently break down. Over the past few weeks, the lift door has been getting stuck on my floor more often.”

No action was taken despite filing a complaint

Aidilaminuddin went on to share that he had already informed the block management and the technician via a WhatsApp group, but no action was taken.

Frustrated by the lack of response, he sought to raise awareness within the group about the challenges he faced by recording the video, hoping it would prompt a resolution to the issue.

“To the person responsible for issues like this, I really hope this problem can be resolved. I feel sorry for all the residents who are unable to go up and down the stairs.”

We sincerely hope that the management of the flat takes prompt action to fix the lifts. And bless Aidilaminuddin for taking such good care of his grandma!
