The courts in Malaysia have their own rules and regulations as it is after all, a place where civil and criminal cases are judged. While we may not be well-versed with the entire set of rules, common sense would tell us that bringing illegal items there is a surefire way to land yourself in trouble.

However, this woman doesn’t seem to think that way because according to The Star, she tried to pass drugs to her brother who was ironically in court because of his involvement in a drug trafficking case. Seriously tho, what was she thinking?!

The 32-year-old woman is the man’s younger sister who was also remanded and brought to court. A few other relatives came to the Penang courthouse to see him too. Apparently, she somehow decided that this was the best time to allegedly pass him a plastic bag of items, which turned out to be heroin and cannabis. Right under the police officers’ noses probably.

The sister was caught red-handed along with another female relative when she tried to hand over the ‘goodie bag’ at around 10.30am yesterday morning. The police arrested both of them and locked them up in a police truck while waiting for the results from a urine test.

Both of them did not take this lightly as they started causing a ruckus while sobbing and begging the police to let them go. Lady, you literally just tried to give drugs to your brother who was arrested! Meanwhile, another woman in her 60s was spotted outside the truck crying and making phone calls.

Unfortunately, the sister’s urine test came back positive for substance use and the police said that they have arrested her. The other relative who was in the truck with her was released.

Passing drugs to an arrested relative in court is probably definitely not the best idea!
