Some people say that you can get anything on an online shopping platform, such as Shopee, like a one-stop shopping place. Recently, an image of fresh and genuine cow dung being sold on Shopee is circulating online, at the price of RM6 per kilogram.
Is the seller expecting a major sale on the upcoming 9.9?
The image was originally shared by a Malaysian in the Facebook group KL娱乐站 but it has since been taken down. However, the image was reshared by another Facebook page
It’s common for farmers to use cow manure as fertilisers but is using fresh cow dung the right way? According to GKVKs.com, applying fresh cow manure is extremely harmful to the plants given its high levels of ammonia and salt, which can burn the greens, not to mention the stench it produces. The best and safest method is to use composted and fully decomposed cow dung.
However, it seems that the seller is not selling cow dung for fertilisation purposes. According to a screenshot shared by a Facebook user, the seller describes his product as an outdoor sanitiser. But that’s not all.
The seller claimed that the fresh cow dung is able to scare away “dirty things“, a reference to evil spirits.
“I’m not so sure, I’m just selling it”, the seller clarified.
As of now, 9 portions of the fresh cow dung have been sold. Additionally, the posting on Shopee has also been taken down.
Regardless, do you think that fresh cow dung is able to scare away evil spirits?
