In a recent video making rounds online, on his TikTok post, a Malaysian man shared an incident he encountered at a toll on the SUKE Highway involving an elderly woman.

In the video, as he approached the toll, he noticed a long queue at the RFID lane, so he decided to use the Touch ‘n Go lane right next to it instead.

The auntie was asking for help

The man, who wished to remain anonymous was on his way and noticed an auntie standing nearby who waved him down for help. She asked if she could use her bank card to pay the toll since her Touch ‘n Go card had expired to which he responded no.

He explained that although she had her IC, she couldn’t top up her card because there were no toll workers around at that time. To help her out, he offered her his Touch ‘n Go card while he paid with his RFID.

He suggested using his card

As he passed through the RFID lane, he was surprised to spot a worker sitting outside the booth. After both he and an elderly auntie cleared the toll, they pulled over to the side so Amir could retrieve his Touch ‘n Go card from her.

In the video, the man expressed his frustration saying,

“How could the worker be so indifferent to the auntie when she needed help? Didn’t he notice she was there, or that both our cars were stopped? Or was he just too busy on his phone?”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, he shared a piece of advice mentioning,

“Don’t be afraid to help others. When you lend a hand, God will send someone to help you in return. So, always be kind to everyone you meet.”

He also urged the toll concession company to improve, recheck, and innovate the design of toll booths and their SOP, considering that the issue has been ongoing for a long time with no action taken by either the government or the toll concession company.
