Just in case you’ve forgotten, at the peak of the Israel-Palestine conflict, a group of Malaysians hacked into over 5,000 CCTVs across Israel.
Now, the group, called DragonForce Malaysia, is back and this time, they’re hacking into the websites of other countries.
The group recently took to their Twitter page to announce that they’ve been hacking into India’s government websites after derogatory remarks were made by 2 ruling party officials against Prophet Muhammad.
DragonForce Malaysia wrote, “Greetings, the Government of India. We are DragonForce Malaysia. This is a special operation on the insult of our Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, the Indian Government website was hacked by DragonForce Malaysia. We will never remain silent.”
In another post shared to their Facebook page, they urged Muslim hackers from all around the world to join them in their operation.
“This is an urgent call for all Muslim hackers, all hackers all over the world, human right organisations and activists all around the world to unite again and start a campaign against India, share what is really going on there and expose their terrorist, criminal war activities to the world,” they added.
“We will never remain silent against India terrorists and criminal war activities. This is a special operation on the insults of our Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.”
Malaysians expressed their support
Their post has garnered quite its share of attention. Netizens were mostly in agreement with what they were doing and offered the group their support.
“Congratulations, DragonForce. I hope you continue to be successful.”
This was all following the backlash received not only from Malaysia but various Islamic countries. The Indian 2 officials have since been suspended and expelled from the political party accordingly.
The party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), also shared that they are “strongly against any ideology which insults or demeans any sect or religion” and “does not promote such people or philosophies”.
