Peak hours are the worst when you’re taking the train. Many of us dread the journey to and back from work, especially knowing that we must stand with the crowds, like a school of sardines.

Empty seats are the most precious at peak hours, especially for those needing them. Just recently, a picture on the X page, @annoyedmsian, circulated on social media, showing a man who was hogging the seat beside him on the train with his bag and allegedly refusing to let others take the seat beside him.

“Someone asked him to remove his bag from the seat. He made a face & refused. If you’re gonna be a jerk on the train, you deserve to be called out publicly.”

The X page shared his picture, hoping frequent train users would be aware of the inconsiderate man. Not only that, but the man was also seen taking off his shoes.

One of the comments also revealed that the man allegedly does that all the time when he’s on the train, where he would let his bag take the seat instead of allowing other train users to sit.

“This was taken a few months back. He ignored the crowds even during peak hours.”

In the meantime, netizens were also baffled to see such an inconsiderate act from the man.

“He even took off his shoes, that’s disgusting!”

“Did he think this is an old school bus,” commented another.

While another user said, “He thinks the train belongs to his dad.”

To those who take the train frequently, have you encountered this man or anyone who hogs the seat?
