Many people like to get beauty treatments and makeovers before the festivities so that they will look their best.

Sometimes, these makeovers do not turn out the way that people envision them to be and the following case is a very good example.

On February 6, a Malaysian woman took to Xiao Hong Shu to share how her hair dye job went.

She wanted it to be the popular “Polaris Blue” colour which is a very dark blue-green mix.

After showing them the inspiration, the hairdresser went to work, however, the end results were not similar at all.

Instead of dark blue and green, it became a bright green mixed with a more coppery army green colour.

The Malaysian then posted the pictures on her Xiao Hong Shu account with the caption:

“The colour I wanted vs the colour I got, the hairdresser said that it can also be dyed like this and that in itself is a skill.”

In the comments, she shared that the dye job was uneven as well, with colour running down her scalp.

Many other netizens gave her some suggestions and asked her to cover it with a dark blue colour, while others shared their fails at the salon as well.
