What do you do when the driver who double parks DOES NOT leave a contact number? A Malaysian man recently utilised the microphone inside the Surau of a flat to alert the double parker who blocked his vehicle.

In a viral TikTok post by @.amirulshafiq94, Amirul said the driver who blocked his vehicle did not have his handbrake released, which rendered it impossible for anyone to manually push the double-parked car away to make way for the blocked vehicle.

Amirul said after waiting for 30 minutes, there was still no sign of the driver. So, he decided to borrow the microphone at the nearby Surau and put it to use.

“Good morning. Attention! To the owner of this white Proton, please move your vehicle now. Another vehicle is exiting. Thank you.”

The driver appeared 15 minutes later

Amirul’s repeated announcement could be heard through the loudspeakers attached outside the roof of the Surau, and 15 minutes later, the driver and his wife appeared.

According to the post, the passenger was a pregnant woman who raised her hand and smiled upon seeing Amirul. However, Amirul was not happy about the woman’s husband who did not bat an eye at the matter.

“I was a little angry that he did not approach me to apologise for making me wait. He looked at his wife and boarded the car without saying anything.”

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Amirul said the flat is somewhere in KL, but preferred not to disclose the exact location of the place.
