A Malaysian e-hailing driver has been missing for 1 week now after sending a passenger to his destination.

The 33-year-old e-hailing driver, Syahrul Asryaf was last seen last Thursday (July 11) and his disappearance was shared on Facebook by Farah Liey, Syahrul’s sister-in-law, who sought help from Malaysians to locate the missing man.

Syahrul, who stays in Pandan Indah, KL was said to be sending a passenger to Teluk Intan, Perak with his brown Proton Persona. Unfortunately, he has not been seen or heard from since then. Syahrul’s family members and wife tried calling his phone but to no avail. He was unreachable.

According to Farah’s viral Facebook post, they downloaded an application to try and trace Syahrul’s location. However, the locations shown were inaccurate.

Syahrul was shown to be in Malacca, Selangor, and KL at different times without a specific location. The application couldn’t narrow down the location, which made it tough for the family to locate the missing man.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Syahrul’s brother, Saiful said that they last spoke to each other last Thursday via WhatsApp, where Syahrul said he would be sending a passenger to Teluk Intan.

Saiful added that his brother seemed fine before the disappearance and has never disappeared without informing anyone, and highlighted that Syahrul is not struggling with any personal issues.

A police report was lodged on Sunday (July 14) at the Pandan Indah Police Station, and Saiful is asking for everyone’s help to locate his brother. Should you have any relevant information at all, feel free to contact Saiful at 017-632 8457.

Let’s not jump to conclusions while the police investigate the matter. We sincerely hope Syahrul will reunite with his family soon.
