Do you remember the Malaysian couple who collects wild animals and has a zoo-like atmosphere in their home?
Well, it looks like they’re in the headlines again.
Khairuljohari27 took to his TikTok account to showcase himself eating a ‘crocodile egg’, apparently from one of his pet crocodiles, cooked by his wife.
He wrote, “We’ll try to make and taste fried crocodile egg. The fried crocodile egg is a bit chewy and creamy, the yolk is delicious and the whites tastes a little different.”
Okay, here’s where things get a little weird and suspicious.
Initially, after receiving doubts from the general public who believed the egg he was eating came from a duck instead of a crocodile, he compared a crocodile and duck egg to show netizens the difference. (The duck egg is allegedly the smaller one.)
In another video, khairuljohari27 also shared that he and his family were eating the ‘crocodile eggs’, laid by his crocodiles, as they did not have enough space for more crocodiles.
But, in a new video, he said that the eggs were not from his crocodiles, or any crocodiles, that they were not crocodile eggs at all! He explained that he only said the eggs were from a crocodile in order to irk netizens who make fun of him but never mentioned from which animal the oval-shaped egg actually came from.
Khairuljohari27 went on to add that his crocodiles are not mature enough to lay eggs.
But this still begs the question, then what eggs are they?
