A trio of content creators are getting bashed online for a video that showcased them giving chicken bones to a homeless man in what appears to be a charity prank. They also showcased how they gave the leftover chicken meat to a pet dog instead.

A netizen, @cken_daily.psd, reshared the video via his Threads account while calling out the trio for the inhumane prank.

He wrote, “3 content creators put chicken bones into a meal and gave it to a homeless person on the street as a prank, calling it an act of kindness! This really reset my expectations for the intelligence, character and basic decency of Malaysian content creators.”

“3 people – from filming to editing – and none of them thought there was anything wrong with this. I hope MCMC and PDRM will launch an investigation into them!”

The content of the video

The video starts off showing the 3 content creators eating fried chicken at a fast food establishment. They then saved some of the chicken meat in a container while licking the chicken bones clean before placing the bones into a pack of rice. One of the content creators even ‘brushed his teeth’ with his chicken bone.

The trio then found a homeless man sleeping on a sidewalk and gave him the pack of rice with the chicken bones. They also filmed the homeless man, who was happy to receive food but was left speechless after opening the pack of rice and seeing the chicken bones.

They ended their video by showcasing how they fed the leftover chicken meat to a pet dog.

Netizens were not happy about this

Netizens not only bashed the content creators in the Threads post but also in one of the content creators’ Instagram pages.
