A Malaysian woman recently found out she was duped by a florist some 2 years ago after realising that the money bouquet with RM5,000 cash on it her husband bought for her only contained RM1,200.

As reported by China Press and Sin Chew, which sighted the post by the victim on the KL吹水站 Facebook group, the couple only recently realised they were cheated by the florist after the wife opened the bouquet delivered in 2022.

According to the post, the husband bought the money bouquet 2 years ago for RM5,350, which was supposed to include RM5,000 in cash and RM350 for preparing the bouquet.

Hence, after checking the first money bouquet, the couple realised that the florist had pocketed RM3,800 in cash from the purchase.

The florist didn’t deliver a second order to the couple

Furthermore, the wife only decided to open the bouquet after the florist didn’t deliver the second money bouquet her husband ordered for her after the first one.

Thankfully, for the second purchase, the florist’s family was willing to help with the refund process, with the grievance ended up being solved privately.

Warning others so that they won’t be cheated too

The wife then posted the incident on the Facebook group to warn others about the florist so that they also wouldn’t be cheated.

In the post, she also shared the crumpled Ringgit banknotes which didn’t add up to RM5,000 as well as a screenshot of the message conversation with the florist.
