Recently, many stories of random objects shockingly found in bazaar Ramadhan food have made headlines.

From the chronicles of “WTH Did I Just Bite Into?!” this time around we’re bringing you a story of how one unlucky buyer finds a rotten tooth in their packed food.

Yeah, unfortunately you read that right.

Last Saturday, a TikTok user (@rezqiyusufcowarehouse) and her family were in disgust when they found 1 rotten tooth inside a piece of Vadai, a popular savoury Indian snack.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Nurul Ain, the person who uploaded the incident on TikTok, said that her sister in law had bought some Vadai from a Ramadhan bazaar located at the Banting-Sepang area.

During buka puasa, Nurul Ain’s brother ate one of the Vadai and found it odd that after many chews, there was still a piece that was extremely hard to bite into.

Thinking it might have just been a rouge hard piece of lentil, he kept on chewing till curiosity got the best of him and took the hard piece out to have a look at it.

To his horror, the “hard piece of lentil” was actually a tooth! Nurul Ain said her brother screamed “Ada Gigi Woy!” which prompted family members around the dinner table to start inspecting the crime scene.

Ain said that she didn’t believe her brother at first, asking him to make sure that it wasn’t his own tooth that he unknowingly chewed.

Having no signs of pain or blood, her brother still thoroughly checked his teeth to make sure it wasn’t from him.

And yes you guessed it, the random tooth was not his.

“Jadi sah la dari kuih vadai tersebut”, confirmed Nurul Ain to us.

Her TikTok video currently has 218k views and over 700 comments.

Netizens were disgusted by the story but of course the comment section was still amusing.

One user joked that because the Vadai was cooked, at least the tooth was “sterilised” while another person commented saying that if it were a gold tooth, he’d at least let the issue slide.
