A video has since gone viral showing a python sheltering under the hood of a vehicle, surrounded by Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel.
According to a post shared on Threads, the incident reportedly took place at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur while the car owner was attending a wedding reception there.

The wedding DJ reportedly later made a surprising announcement that a snake had entered a car in the venue’s parking.
“The car owner was shocked when the DJ announced that a snake had entered a car with a specific licence plate number, according to a report from a security guard at the hotel,” the post read.

The car owner immediately rushed to the vehicle after realising the number plate announced was theirs.
Meanwhile, in the video, APM personnel can be seen opening the car’s bonnet and trying to remove a large python from the vehicle.

Netizens’ reactions

“I’m still curious how that snake could survive and grow that big in the middle of Kuala Lumpur.”

“How did it get into the car’s front area? It could have gone into the engine, right? So it might have come into the front passenger seat area through a gap near the passenger side.”

“It couldn’t get into the hotel, and even getting into a car got it caught.”

“Maybe the snake was sulking because it wasn’t brought to the wedding. But thankfully, someone spotted it and gave an alert.”
