A video has been going viral online, showing a woman buying Malaysian flags in bulk at a popular hardware store chain.
The customer, @eima_azmie, recorded her visit to the MR D.I.Y. branch in Muar, Johor, where the cashier was seen carefully checking each flag before letting her and her colleagues pay.
The staff instructed them to go to a closed counter

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Eima shared that she and her colleagues went to the store on August 14 (Thursday) to buy Jalur Gemilang flags in bulk after their manager asked them to decorate their office.
She explained that when they reached the counter, the staff immediately redirected them to a closed counter, saying they needed to do a final check on all the flags.
“When we got there, the cashier told us to head over to a closed counter because they had to double-check the flags to make sure there weren’t any printing errors, missing stripes, or missing stars on the Malaysian flag,” she said.

“I respect them for taking the issue seriously”
Eima shared that she and her collogues didn’t mind waiting while the cashier double-checked everything, adding that she appreciated how both the staff and the store took the Malaysian flag issue seriously.
She also assured that the inspection didn’t cause any delays for other customers at the counter.
“It took a while since we bought so many, and honestly, I felt a bit bad for the cashier because she had to count each one carefully and check all the details. I really respect MR D.I.Y. for taking the issue seriously, and they were really smart in handling the situation.”
