Motorcyclist Decapitated in Horrific Accident, PDRM in Search of Lorry Driver Who Fled the Scene

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are currently on the hunt for a lorry driver who is believed to be involved in an accident which led to the death of a motorcyclist on the Linkedua Highway on Friday (December 27).

According to a report by Sinar Harian, the Kulai District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee, shared that his department received a report about the incident at around 4:30pm involving a Honda RS150R motorcycle and a lorry that has yet to be identified.

“Initial police investigations found that the accident is believed to have occurred when a Honda RS150R motorcycle ridden by a 30-year-old local man tried to avoid a lorry in the right lane,”

“His actions caused him to lose control and hit the road divider on the right. As a result, the motorcyclist suffered serious head injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene while the lorry driver reportedly fled the scene,” he said.

Images shared to WhatsApp groups also showed that the victim’s head had been torn off his body in the accident.

 

This case is now being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987.
