A video of a motorcyclist unclogging a gutter during a heavy downpour to help others stuck in traffic is a perfect example of selflessness and quick thinking in the face of adversity has made its way onto social media.

In the caption, the netizen who shared the video writes“May God bless this abang for unclogging the gutter. Just look at how wet he got.”

He was not alone when he did it, as another motorcyclist stopped and offered assistance.

Taking to the comments section, here is what people had to say on Threads.

“Mad respect for this brother. I wonder why this always happens, especially with heavy rain. Floods are happening everywhere.”

A user shared, “This is a common occurrence on my way home. Every time it rains heavily, floods would happen. I even lost my vehicle’s registration plate going through floods like this.”

Another netizen pointed out that the public should not be made responsible for performing roadworks.

“Local authorities should have carried out a patrol to observe road conditions, especially when it is raining heavily, as it is a part of their SOP. Where are they?!”

We would like to thank the kind motorcyclist for helping out and making everybody’s day that much better.
