Whether it’s building a hut up in the hills for better network or risking their life serving the country, there’s nothing parents won’t do to see their children succeed.

They work diligently to afford the best things for their kids. Which is why it’s truly heartbreaking to see teachers destroying these nice things in the name of ‘punishment’.

Speaking of, a video was posted recently on a public Twitter page called Video Viral Malaysia showing a lady, who is believed to be an educator of a school in Indonesia, burning a few pairs of what seems to be the student’s school shoes.

The said educator is seen carrying 2 pairs of shoes down a couple of steps and places them next to an already burning bonfire. She then burns the school shoes one by one.

According to the tweet, this was an act of punishment to those who disobeyed the school’s rules. Though it was not mentioned exactly what the students did wrong.

The caption of the tweet states,

“The actions of a few students in Indonesia who were believed to be violating school rules invite repercussions when a female teacher sets fire to their shoes”.

Times are changing and so are generations, it’s an inevitable fact that punishments desperately need a reformation.
