From ‘garlic can kill COVID-19 virus’ to COVID-19 antidote water… the struggle just doesn’t seem to end.
Yesterday, both the Ministry of Health (MOH) and PDRM took to their respective Facebook pages to debunk claims of a drink that can cure COVID-19.
“There are parties trying to take advantage of selling drinks that are supposedly used as an antidote to the Covid-19 virus,” they both write in their statements.
Both statements clarified that this ‘antidote’ does not actually exist and they urged all Malaysians to stay vigilant and not be so easily fooled.
But netizens didn’t stop there
Hearing this news, netizens took it upon themselves to crack jokes at the stupidity of believing in a ‘COVID-19 antidote water’ in the first place.
“This drink is the antidote of corona.”
“Medicine for stupid people: eat when something stupid happens. Eat 10 pills in one go.”
“Might as well drink cow pee.”
Well, what do you think?
