After it was announced that the major national exams would be postponed due to Covid-19, students and parents alike have been anticipating for the government to decide on the official dates in which these tests will take place.

Yesterday (28th June), the Ministry of Education (MOE) released a statement announcing that SPM will take place from 6th January to 9th February next year.

As the SPM 2020 examination is scheduled to start on the first week of 2021, MOE has taken into consideration the need to rearrange many logistical aspects for the exam to take place. This will include specifying the dates for when the schooling year will start in 2021, which will be announced shortly,” said the statement.
