The recently-opened hair studio in Puchong which had sexy Thai models as its marketing agenda has certainly grabbed the attention of fellow Malaysians. However, it was certainly not the main reason behind why the authorities paid their visit.
In a statement released by Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ) yesterday (8 June), it was revealed that the controversial AJ Hair Studio operated without a valid license by MBSJ.
3 MBSJ officers along with 4 PDRM officers from Serdang police station joined the raid at the hair studio which was located at Jalan Puteri 7/11, Bandar Puteri, Puchong.
As a result of the raid, the officers have issued 2 compounds to AJ Hair Studio under 2 offences, namely,
- Operating a beauty & health spa without a valid license.
- Displaying the business signboard without a valid license.
MBSJ also reminded the people that constant monitoring will be done on premises from time to time and business operators are urged to abide by the rules that were set by the authorities.
AJ Hair Studio had its grand opening on 2 June but its marketing which featured fancy cars and sexy Thai models washing the hair of male customers received backlash from some people.
The images of the models have since circulated online which led to the expectation of “special massage services” from some customers. AJ Hair Studio has since clarified the situation and assured that their premise offers no such services, except for relevant hair care services.
What do you think of AJ Hair Studio’s marketing? Do you fancy its grand opening with the luxury vehicles and sexy models?
